Digitalus Media was founded in 2005 with the ambitious goal of making our mark in direction that web technology is moving. Over the last four years we have grown from a great idea into a great small business through time proven business practices. We view a business relationship as a partnership, where the success of your company and projects propels our company’s success (and vice versa, of course).

How we work

Over the years we have developed a pragmatic approach to web development. By following this approach (as closely as possible) we are able develop more stable software much faster. It works like this:

Step 1 Discovery & Planning

We get to know each other. You learn about Digitalus, and we learn about your company. We focus on how you have used the web in the past and how you would like to improve your web presence. Then we create a comprehensive plan for creating your site. This includes specific goals which we will use to track the progress and overall success of the project.

Step 2: Development

Once we have established the project requirements and the path to the end result we put the pen to the paper. We develop using agile development practices, which include your company in each stage of the development. These methodologies enable us to catch unexpected issues and adjust immediately, before they snowball into larger challenges that require complex and costly refactoring.

Step 3: Quality assurance testing

Once the initial project development is completed we torture test your project. This includes testing the project on a full range of platforms and browsers, with an equally diverse range of users.

Step 4: Deployment

When we are all satisfied that your project is perfect we deploy it to the production servers. This can be with your hosting company, or if you prefer we can handle all of your hosting needs. We host all of our sites on Dell Xeon dedicated servers powered by clean, renewable wind energy!

Step 5: The next steps

A successful project launch is just the first step in our professional relationship. Once you are on the Digitalus Network we provide a wide range of services, from technical support and training to ongoing development and maintenance.
