Working with the media manager

The Digitalus Media manager integrates the CMS with all of your file resources; items like graphics and documents. 

Creating a New Folder

You can add a new folder to the file tree by:

  1. Right click on the parent folder
  2. Click add folder
  3. The CMS will create a new folder and prompt to to name it

Renaming a Folder or File

You can rename a folder or file in the tree by:

  1. Right click on the parent folder
  2. Click rename
  3. The file name will turn into an input; type the new name and hit enter

Uploading a New File

You can upload a new file by:

  1. Right click on the parent folder
  2. Click upload file

  1. The upload file dialog will open
  2. Click choose file and find the file you want to upload on your hard drive
  3. Click open file, then ok to upload it

Deleting a File

When you need to delete a file you can:

  1. Right click on the file in the tree
  2. Click Discard
  3. A confirmation dialog will open; click ok
